Top Virtual Pet Apps Performance in Russia, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the virtual pet app market in Russia showed varied performance across the top five applications. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into downloads, revenue, and weekly active user trends for these popular apps.

My Talking Angela 2 by Outfit7 Limited saw a decline in weekly revenue from $273 in early July to $123 by the end of September. Downloads experienced fluctuations, peaking at 77.8K in the week of July 8, before settling at 53.3K by the end of the quarter. Active users decreased from 468.6K to 259K over the same period.

My Talking Tom Friends maintained a relatively stable revenue stream, with a notable peak of $162 in the week of September 23. Downloads showed an upward trend in early September, reaching 73.9K, while weekly active users remained consistent, averaging around 460K throughout the quarter.

My Talking Tom 2 exhibited a steady increase in revenue towards the end of the quarter, rising to $140 in late September. Downloads fluctuated, hitting a high of 71.2K in late August. The app maintained a strong active user base, with numbers hovering around 1M, despite a dip in September.

My Talking Tom experienced a significant revenue increase, reaching $193 in mid-September. Downloads, however, showed a downward trend, starting at 62.7K and ending at 39.7K. Active users declined from 769.8K to 434.8K by quarter's end.

Lastly, Cat Simulator: My Pets from Take Top Entertainment LLP saw modest revenue, with occasional peaks such as $19 in mid-August. Downloads were highest in early July at 89.9K but fell to 27.8K by the end of September. Active user numbers peaked at 172K in late August but decreased to 104.7K by the quarter's close.
